The Shibui “Koi” keel fish surfboard can be constructed as either a performance or traditional board. The Koi is the revered fish in japan and you will have the same reverence for this beautiful shape. The Koi can be set up as a twin fin or twin keel. it is fast, loose and drives. The Koi flies in small to medium waves. its long single concave into a vee double through the fins makes it so much fun as a small board.

All our boards are built from the best materials in the world and built by surfers that have years of experience and all our stock shapes have been tried and tested and work in all conditions.

This board can be plain, foam tinted or polished resin tinted in blue or red.

CONSTRUCTION POLYURETHANE/POLYESTER

Polyurethane blank with polyester resin is the most widely used construction for surfboards and has been for years. Recently polyester resin has become stronger and more ultraviolet stable which means the boards last longer and stay white even when exposed to strong sunlight on surf trips.

At Shibui surfboards we use a resin called Isophthalic which is the best polyester resin on the market, your board will stay whiter for longer. The polyurethane blanks we use are from US Blanks which supply all the top brands worldwide, they're strong and light. Shibui surfboards are built from the best materials out there, we do not cut corners on quality, if need advice please contact us.

ORDER PROCESS

Once you have paid for your surfboard and the money is cleared, you will receive an email with the shapers contact details. You will then be able to discuss exactly the specification for your board.

After your board has been specified the shaper will calculate the cost of the delivery, we will invoice you the delivery costs before the completion of the construction of your board.
